Marshmellow Infused Vodka

Here it is, a Marshmallow Lemon-tini made with a homemade marshmallow infused vodka that took less that 24 hours to make. I really can't express enough how easy it was to create my own infused vodka, without all the heavy artificial taste and sweeteners used in all the name brand vodkas that's all the rage these days.

I've been wanting to infuse my own vodka and rum for quite some time now,  and one day i just went right for it. I grabbed a glass bottle from TJ Maxx for 3.99 and picked up some Vodka and Marshmallows. I combined about 3 cups of marshmallows to 3 cups of vodka into the glass and shook every few hours. No straining was needed, everything melted away the next day and i was about to create two martinis, the one above and an adult chocolate milk, a mock s'more if you will. Both were yummy, but both hubby and i agreed that this one tasted much better, we both like sour drinks regularly, so its not wonder this was a winner.

Marshmallow Lemontini
  • 1 ounce Marshmallow Infused vodka
  • 1 ounce of water
  • 3/4 ounce simple syrup
  • 1 ounce of fresh squeezed lemon juice, or half a lemon
-Add all the ingredients into a shaker with ice, shake vigorously until well combined and shaker is ice cold, strain into a glass and enjoy.
